Helping With Expenses, Instruments, etc. In the ministry work that we are involved in there are very real costs involved and they often present a challenge, but to be sure the most necessary need is an encouraging word and sincere prayer from others. We fund our endeavors by working when possible, keeping expenses low as possible, and with much prayer. There is no central office, no fax line, and no secretaries—all that exists is a camper and vehicle with dedicated persons giving of themselves in various ways throughout the US, Mexico, and Guatemala. Occasionally there are special people who decide of their own will that they want to do something to help and that is always something marvelous and encouraging to us. I think everyone on the mission team will always wish we had more time and more resources to show Gods love to more places— but we are all very committed to doing the absolute most that we can with what we have. If you desire to help with expenses, the purchase of instruments, etc. we will offer prayers of thankfulness and treat what you have given with great respect. You will not be placed on an automatic mailing list or be asked repeatedly for donations. For details on how to send funds to help with this effort see the links that follow.

A Host of Helpers Much has been accomplished in the past 8 years alone. The people you see on this page are all special to us. In some way or another each one has shown their support and encouragement for what we have tried to accomplish. Many of those who are on this page we have not seen for years. Some have helped with meals, others have helped with gasoline costs, and still others with maybe a place to stay for a couple of nights. Some have prayed for us faithfully. Some have encouraged us through their letters. Some have provided for a special need in some way. Some have provided financial support. Some have been friends that we could depend on. Some have worked alongside us. God has certainly used these people at different times to bless and encourage our work. If you would like to be a part of what we do check out the ideas below... If you are feeling like you would like to explore working with the mission team for a couple of weeks than contact us for details. Whole families are welcome though there are a few simple prerequisites. Depending on your ability to travel “simply”, we may be able to help you minimize travel costs. If Spanish is not your best subject don’t be overly concerned—everyone on the mission team speaks Spanish freely and your Spanish will most certainly be better by the time you leave. A helping hand is always a great encouragement so don’t hesitate to call if you have questions.
Come Visit Us If you would like to visit the mission team in action, then give us a call. An interested visitor can be a great encouragement not only to us, but to those who we work with as well. We can inform you of potential dates that would coordinate well with the communities we are visiting. Scheduling a Choir or Orchestra Get-Together Encouraging groups of people or congregations to sing or play instruments together in a way that is special and meaningful is something that we enjoy greatly. If we are in your “neck of the woods” and you would like to schedule a choir or orchestra get together than be sure to contact us. Many adults and capable seniors have violins and cellos hidden away in their closet—waiting for an opportunity to be valued and appreciated. Contact us about possible opportunities.
Occasionally on the Special Cases Page of this site you will find stories of individuals who are facing a special need or are suffering in some way. We place their stories on this page so that others can help us look for hope. Pray for these people. If you read their helpful and uplifting to them then let us know. Our spirits are truly lifted when someone else takes an interest. Prayers and Letters of Encouragement If God is not behind the efforts we put forth than it is for naught. Your prayers are greatly valued. We need prayers for guidance. Pray that the decisions we make will allow us to bring honor to His name and to show his love clearly to others. Prayers for protection Many of the places traveled by the mission team are violent and dangerous—there have been close calls, but we believe that the prayers of protection offered by many have made a difference. Prayers of provision We want to be fully dedicated to the work we have set out to due. It is quite miraculous to us that we have had provision to accomplish what has been done thus far. Ernest prayers that we will have sufficient provision for basic needs and continued service to others are very much appreciated.
Scheduling a visit to your group or church Contact us if you would like to have the mission team visit a group or church that you belong to. We enjoy the opportunity to get to know others and certainly appreciate encouragement. If you think we might be able to encourage your gathering in some way feel free to call us— though depending on our location it may be necessary to wait a few months. Request e-mail Updates If you would like to keep up to date with the latest news than send us an e-mail or give us a call. We send out periodic updates with stories about the communities that we visit challenges of the mission team, etc. The updates do not include any advertisements. We do all we can to ensure that your email address will NOT be forwarded to other mailing lists.
