| What is a Symphony of Hope or a Choir of Faith…? It is a group of people, young or old, dedicated to serving in God’s love and making God-centered music that is special... set apart… joyful… triumphant., or reverent. Sometimes in difficult places of Guatemala and Mexico the symphonies and choirs that we work with barely exist. They are truly symphonies of hope, and choirs of faith. The families and children who participate have only hope … that someday… in the future, something special will exist. They are groups with a foundation of faith and with principles: To follow God’s ways more closely and to serve others. They are groups committed to doing all that they can with what they have. They strive to lift the spirits of those who are down—visitors to a hospital, inmates in prison, workers in a factory or mine, or families in a neighborhood. They strive to bring honor to God’s name and the name of his son Jesus. It would truly be an incredible thing someday to see the mission team expand to a full symphony and choir…dedicated toward serving those around them and one another in God’s love—ready to take risks and accept sacrifice. Only God knows what the future may hold. Your prayers in this effort can make a difference.
